We use only the highest quality local woods, foam, luxury fabrics and leathers to create the pieces you’ll find here at Bahati Collective.

Furniture manufacture is centered on long term value creation. It's the coming together of design, materials and great execution to realize quality, covetable pieces.
We’ve brought together a community of artisans from diverse backgrounds with a broad range of expertise, who fuse rich cultural history with modern manufacturing techniques and top quality materials to create contemporary heirlooms.

OUR COLLECTIVE
Helmed by designers Julian and Sarah, Bahati Collective was conceived as an authentic, enduring alternative to cheap furniture imports. It's an ethical, socially enterprising alternative to mass manufactured imports. Our products offer customers shopping with purpose design led, high quality furniture that they can make their own and enjoy for many years to come.

HOW WE CREATE

Design
We find inspiration in our communities, unique and unusual finds, international interior trends and listening to our customers. From mood board to concept sketches, functionality and our customers inform our design process.
Develop
Our industrial designers, artisans and manufacturers work collaboratively on each piece alongside our product designers to iterate and refine each piece.
Manufacture
The life-sized blueprint of the product is then discussed with the frame maker at the factory and a mock up simplified sample is made to establish the correct scale and we look at all finer details. Finally a prototype is hand crafted, then presented to the design and sales team for scrutiny and improvements are made if they’re needed.
Deliver
Drawing on our Collective’s expertise, we focus on producing beautifully made, enduring luxury furniture. Delivered to you.
